During the COVID pandemic, working in wards filled with older adults battling age-related illness, Dr. Chaitra saw their struggles and loss of independence up close — and it changed the direction of her career. She trained formally in Geriatric Medicine, earning a Certificate of Merit for first position.
Years of practice revealed a hard truth: healthcare treats disease once the body fails, but rarely builds resilience before frailty sets in. Ayuh is her answer — a proactive foundation that helps people above 50 stay strong, independent, and full of purpose.
